Pan Audio and Company commenced its operations in 1982 with just 3 staff
members marketing data storage products. In 1984 we were appointed by 3M
Singapore as the authorized distributor of their data storage products. Due to
the commitment of the Pan Audio and the remarkable success that was
recorded, the company was soon appointed as the authorized distributor of 3M
commercial office supplies within a span of 3 years. In 1989 we were
appointed as the sole distributor of 3M visual products.
Today we have grown our business rapidly at a steady growth rate of over 25% per annum despite grueling economic, social and political conditions in the country. We are sole distributors of 9 reputed global brands such as Imation, Eiki, HP (imaging and printing), Quantum, Backbone, Primo, Red Leaf, 3M (optical), Herma etc, in Sri Lanka. Over the years we have won many accolades and awards from our principals for our untiring efforts.
To name a few we have won the “ Best of Best” award from HP and “ Innovative Programme Award and Most Promising Distributor Award” from Imation. The company has increased the product portfolio over the years and divisions such as Computer Support Division, Storage Solutions Division, Presentation Systems Division and Technical Support Division were introduced. Our staff strength over the years has grown from 3 to over 60. We have diversified into other areas of business such as floor care & maintenance products (PanCare).It is significant to note that Pan Audio as an organization is engaged in business sectors that are the fastest growing in the world: IT. We have over 25 dedicated sales and marketing executives/ officers and 5 trained and experienced technical personnel as our customer support team.
